Ball Of Yarn Christmas ornament I created this little Christmas ornament back in 2013 for a free craft magazine I created with some other crafters. The project is super simple. For magazine & supply list link check #linkinprofile You will need: -1 small polystyrene ball -tacky glue -yarn scraps -two toothpicks -two small beads for the top -bakers twine or string to hang The two small toothpicks act as little knitting needles. How to: 1. Use a tiny dab of tacky glue to attach the end of a yarn scrap and allow to dry. You can use hot glue if you have it. 2. Get wrapping! When you come to the end of your scrap, add more glue and allow to dry. 3. Glue the beads to the ends of the toothpicks and allow to dry. Jab them into your yarn! 4. Take a piece of twine, fold it over and tie a knot at the end. Use a sewing pin and some glue to attach the twine to the top of the ornament. Ta daaaah!

Saskia, where are we going tomorrow? — fig & me
Saskia, a natural fiber art doll by Fig and me, wears her knitted bonnet with a single tiny pompom. Because obviously such a tiny pompom is just the thing she wanted.
