Former Childhood Star Shirley Temple Dies At Age 85
Shirley Temple Black (1928–2014) was an American actress, singer, dancer & one-time ambassador to Ghana & Czechoslovakia. She served as Chief of Protocol of the US, 1976–77. She began in films at age 3 in 1932; 'retired' in 1950 at age 22. She was on boards of many organizations including The Walt Disney Company, Del Monte Foods and the National Wildlife Federation.
