Cobras are some of the most dangerous and venomous snakes found mostly in Africa and Asia. They can range in length from 8 feet to just over 18 feet. According to National Geographic, one bite from a king cobra has enough toxin to kill 20 people or even an elephant. Most cobras, however, are shy and try to stay away from humans.

Last night I dreamed about a beautiful cobra that looked just like this one with the majestic hood, golden skin, and striking decoration on its back.

Rescued King Cobra. Hivarem khurd, Sattari- Goa. Rescued????? What would a King Cobra need rescuing from???? That picture by itself scares me. Never mind actually meeting something like that on a jungle path.

Mongoose vs. King Cobra I have seen a king Cobra in the wild. It is almost unbelievable to me that the small bad assed Mongoose takes these suckers on regularly and enjoys doing it!! I don't ever want to fight with a Mongoose.
