Nelson Mandela sculpture- The statue was created by a South African artist Marco Cianfanelli to recognize a 50-year anniversary of the imprisonment of Mandela and put at exact spot where Nelson Mandela was arrested. Comprises of 50 steel bars representing the anniversary of his arrest. Mandela’s face only comes in focus if you look at the bars from at least 35-meter distance; that way the separate details make the whole picture and thus symbolize solidarity.
